What is Dental Bonding?

If you have damaged, chipped or cracked teeth Dental Bonding is an inexpensive solution to repair, fill gaps, and improve the shape of your smile.

The procedure is done using a natural colored resin to resemble teeth and is applied to problem areas. The bonding occurs when the substance has been shaped and hardened with a special light. It is a simple cosmetic procedure that produces immediate results.

Enamel Shaping

Enamel shaping is a great and simple solution to modify imperfections. It is a process done to fix: Minor Imperfections, Uneven Appearance and Crowding Teeth. Results are visible immediately following the procedure. Enamel shaping and conturing is often done while adding Veneers, Dental Bonding and other tooth modifications including on occasion, alongside whitening treatments.

What are Dental Veneers?

Dental or porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made tooth-colored shells designed to bond to the front of the tooth to change create a better appearance.

Dental veneers can be made from porcelain or from resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers resist stains better than resin veneers. Porcelain also better mimic the reflective properties of your natural teeth.

Veneers are routinely used to fix:

  • Discoloration due to reasons that can include root canals or even certain drugs.
  • Excessive wearing of natural teeth
  • Chips or breaks
  • Misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shapes
  • Large gaps between teeth

What Is a Dental Crown?

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth — to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.

The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.

Dental Implants

Implants are a multi-step process to replace missing teeth with a natural feel. The implant is placed by an oral surgeon and then a crown is completed at our office.
